Job Description Job Type: Full Time - Monday to Friday - 7:30am - 3:30pm Requirements: • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Bachelor’s degree is preferred., • Experience working with children with behavioral challenges preferred., • A valid driver’s license is required., • Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications. Job Summary: The Education Aide provides direct support to students within an educational setting, assisting teachers in creating a structured and positive classroom environment that fosters individualized academic and behavioral growth. This role collaborates with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans, behavior strategies, and instructional supports. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, documentation, preparation of educational materials, and active participation in team meetings. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage challenging behaviors, and a commitment to professional development and agency standards. Key Responsibilities: • Provide individualized and small-group academic and behavioral support to students., • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans, classroom expectations, and structured teaching strategies., • Support classroom management and act as substitute teacher when needed., • Complete required documentation, including strategy sheets, assessments, incident reports, and progress trackers., • Contribute to student records such as IEPs, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Plans., • Participate in treatment team planning and maintain familiarity with student case records., • Communicate weekly with parents/guardians regarding student progress., • Collaborate with teachers, agency staff, and external professionals to ensure student needs are met., • Represent the agency professionally in all interactions and participate in meetings and committees., • Provide crisis intervention, including de-escalation, seclusion, and restraints., • Implement individualized treatment plans and motivation systems., • Promote safe, age-appropriate environments and model positive social and coping skills., • Attend required training (crisis intervention, CPR, First Aid) and maintain TFM certification., • Participate in professional seminars and accept feedback for growth., • Associate's degree $18/hr and goes up depending on experience, • Bachelor's degree starts at $19.50/hr and goes up depending on experience, • Master's degree starts at $21/hr and goes up depending on experience, • Full benefits package includes:, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Retirement plan, • Tuition assistance, • Public Loan Forgiveness eligibility, • Paid time off and holidays, • Weekly licensure supervision, • Company-issued iPhone and laptop Exposed to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments.
