Job Description Director of Employment Services Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana Salary: $57,216 - $88,425 Position Summary: The Director of Employment Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for all employment-related programs within Easterseals Northeast Indiana. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that promote competitive integrated employment, skill development, and independence for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to work. The Director is responsible for program strategy, fiscal management, staff leadership, and the continuous improvement of services in al ignment with agency mission and values. This role drives the development of cohesive, data-driven teams that operate with excellence, innovation, and accountability, ensuring Easterseals Northeast Indiana remains a leader in employment services and inclusive workforce initiatives. Primary Responsibilities 1. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance • Monitor and communicate changes in funding guidance, audit requirements, and employment regulations., • Maintain documentation systems that meet audit, accreditation, and internal quality standards., • Facilitate quality assurance processes to verify service fidelity. 2. Leadership and Staff Development • Facilitate leadership succession planning and emerging leader development within the employment division. 3. Program Integration and Service Delivery 4. Fiscal Stewardship and Funding Diversification • Collaborate with agency leadership to develop and manage budgets aligned with agency goals and grant requirements., • Identify areas of underperformance and implement corrective action plans. 5. Partnership Development and Community Engagement • Represent the agency’s employment programs in community forums, partnerships, and workforce initiatives. 6. Strategic Alignment and Network Collaboration • Align agency programming with network initiatives, shared models, and cross-agency goals., • Participate in strategic planning, innovation design, and policy development. Qualifications • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or program leadership experience required., • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze program data, and lead diverse teams toward measurable outcomes., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency documentation systems required., • Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to travel., • Must successfully complete all background checks, reference verifications, and agency-mandated training requirements.
