This full-time role is responsible for managing projects through all stages from early budgeting and estimating to project completion and closeout. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, managing awarded projects, and ensuring cost accuracy and schedule performance. This is a great opportunity for a professional who enjoys both the technical and relationship aspects of construction management and estimating. Key Responsibilities • Manage the full project life cycle for ceiling division projectsfrom bidding through closeout, • Review and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate and competitive estimates, • Review contract conditions and ensure team compliance with all terms, • Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases, • Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and procurement with internal teams and external partners, • Track labor, material, and subcontractor costs, and forecast project performance, • Lead and facilitate project meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors, • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders, • Monitor project schedules, manpower, and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery, • Identify and mitigate risks throughout project execution, • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, • Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience (commercial construction estimating or management), • Proficiency in OST, QuickBid, BlueBeam, and construction accounting software, • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), • In-depth understanding of the bid and estimating process, • Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities, • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail, • Ability to work onsite and adapt to dynamic construction settings NGi is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
