Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) Classification: Exempt Status: Full-time Reports to: Director, Human Resources Operations Purpose The Manager, HRIS leads and supports technology functions and outcomes in an ADP technology platform and is the primary owner of management and optimization of the HRIS system. Ensuring seamless performance, data integrity and compliance, the Manager, HRIS drives system improvements, reporting and analytics, and partners with business leaders to enhance the employee and end-user experience. The HRIS Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement new modules, guides integrations, enhances system functionality, improves HR processes, and provides technical expertise to ensure the system is effectively utilized. This position is hands-on and requires demonstrated advisory experience, with support from the HR Data Analyst. Responsibilities • Serves as the primary owner and point of accountability for HR systems performance, roadmaps and vendor outcomes., • Leads HR processes, systems and reporting by driving implementations and enhancements and advising on process improvements within ADP WorkforceNow and complementary vendor software with the Director and appropriate HR Team members., • Defines and maintains the HRIS roadmap aligned to HR and business priorities, and translates needs into sequenced plans for configurations, integrations and releases., • Establishes governance for data standards, security roles, and change controls across the HR Technology stack., • Enhances, maintains and upholds ADP WorkforceNow business processes, setup, security roles, EIB fields, condition rules, and reporting., • Sets priorities, coordinates and participates in the daily workflow, ensuring quality of work and timely completion of assignments., • Monitors outcomes, develops and implements procedures to optimize effectiveness and ensures that the system is utilized effectively., • Oversees the HR Data Analyst, including monitoring work quality, timelines and overall performance, affording development and training on new skills and competencies., • Manages or co-leads projects with relationships to the HRIS as needed., • Lead the implementation of third-party software integration, collaborating with HR or other team members as needed, and testing new applications and changes to ensure success prior to rollout., • Advises and supports internal stakeholders and project teams on technical issues relating to HRIS applications., • Directly or through the HR Data Analyst, affords stakeholders updated and accurate HR documentation and reporting, HR forms/records, and training platforms. Collaborates with other HR Team members on the same., • Scopes and designs detailed technology solutions to specific HR business needs., • Communicates status and key business information effectively to both management and other internal customers., • As the HRIS subject matter expert for HR and other users, provides user support with job aids such as documentation and supporting materials., • Assesses, recommends and develops technical trainings for HR staff and other HRIS users, in collaboration with the Learning & Development team, as needed., • Act as liaison and subject matter expert between HR, IT, Finance and other departments., • Maintains awareness of current trends in HR technology and HR regulations., • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or relates field., • Minimum of six (6) years of HRIS experience and proficiency in an ADP WorkforceNow environment, including experience in data management, system design, system integration and system upgrades., • SQL knowledge., • Working knowledge of privacy regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA and CCPA/CRA., • Supervisory experience required with demonstrated experience leading and developing others., • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards., • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities., • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with both technical and functional users. This position operates in a home or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines.
