Job DescriptionJob Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welding Engineer to lead the development of welding techniques, procedures, and fabrication processes for complex metal assemblies. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep knowledge of welding engineering principles, metal alloys, production specifications, and advanced fabrication methods. You will drive R&D initiatives, improve existing welding processes, develop new welding technologies, and support production teams with technical expertise. This position requires strong problem‑solving skills, hands‑on capability, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement welding procedures for production teams, including material processes, pre‑ and post‑heat requirements, and complex alloy applications., • Design and create welding fixtures to support standard product manufacturing., • Develop internal passivation methods for welds., • Research and evaluate new welding technologies, equipment, and processes for potential integration., • Lead and coordinate technical personnel in weld inspections, procedure compliance, and certification testing., • Collaborate with Buyers to establish supply chains for welding consumables and outsourced weldment components., • Perform hands‑on fixturing, welding, and assembly of products to customer specifications., • Adapt to evolving responsibilities as needed.Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or Welding Engineering, or 10+ years of relevant welding experience., • Level II Visual Weld Inspector training required., • 2–4 years of stainless steel welding experience., • Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO 9000 or similar)., • Proficiency in 3D modeling and engineering software, including:, • SolidWorks, • AutoCAD 2D, • MS Outlook, Word, Excel, • Ability to work independently and professionally in a startup‑style environment., • Minimal travel required.Physical Requirements, • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of standard office equipment., • Occasional bending, twisting, squatting, climbing., • Frequent hand/wrist motion and tool use., • Ability to lift 1–10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally., • Occasional carrying up to 25 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., • May require brief daily driving.Why This Role Stands Out, • Opportunity to lead welding innovation and process development, • High impact on product quality, fabrication methods, and engineering standards, • Hands‑on and strategic blend of R&D, production support, and technical leadership
