DLCsDepartment of Mission Supportseeksa skilled anddetail-orientedDigitalResourcesSpecialist.This positionwillsupportthedevelopmentand organizationof theagencys digital resources, including thewebsite, social mediaplatforms, educationalmaterials,andpublic reports. The ideal candidate will bring strong digital skills, a commitment to disability rights, and the ability to manage multiple projects in afast-paced,mission-drivenenvironment. Primary Responsibilities: Website Content Management • Support ongoing website maintenance and quality assurance to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and brand consistency., • Maintainwebsiteframework to ensure content and structureremainsin compliance with website design., • Upload, update, and organize website content using the organizations content management system., • Edit and enhance existing webpages, including text, imagery, layout, metadata, and search engineoptimizationaligned elements., • Format and load images, graphics, documents, and other digital assets. Self-Advocacy ResourceContent Management • Ensure resources posted to the website are available in multiple formats, follow brand guidelines,andareaccessible to all users., • Collaborate with Intake Attorney and Self- Advocacy Specialists to ensure resources are catalogued and filed per standard agency procedures., • Work proactively withstaffto developnew digitaltools and technical solutionswhen a resource need is identified., • Maintain the onlinerequest for assistance form. Anticipate and implement updates to the form and website to correspond to intake and self-advocacy team needs. Video and Audio Coordination • Coordinate the production of short- and long-form video content for social media platforms and the DLC website., • Pilot the production of short form and long form audio content in coordination withlegal and advocacystaff., • Support multimedia storytelling, including editing footage,optimizingvideo for accessibility, and preparing files for distribution across digital channels Digital Accessibility • Assistin digital accessibility compliance for the website, • Buildor expandknowledgeofdigital accessibility standards and stay currentwith compliancerequirements., • Support staff in our ongoing effort to make all resources accessible to individuals we serve. Social Media and Digital Communications • Create, plan, andmaintaina monthly social media calendar, • Draft, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook,andInstagram, • Create, launch, andmaintaina TikTok presence for the organization, • Assistin developing platform-specific short-form video strategies, • Track performance metrics and extract insights to support content strategy and improvement Digital AssetSupport • Support the implementation and ongoing rollout of Disability Law Colorados rebranding efforts., • Collaborate with internal leadership and the organizationsexternal communicationsandwebsite development partners., • Maintain and update visual identity assets and branded materials., • Assistwith the creation of graphics and visual assets for communications campaigns, outreach events, announcements, emaildistributions, and website content. EmailCommunicationsand CRM Support • Collaborate with staff onbuildingand distributingbranded email newsletter templates inourCRM., • Coordinate with fundraising staff to support list management, including cleaning, organizing, and segmenting distribution lists., • Develop andmaintaincompetence in CRM skills related to digital resource management. General DigitalSupportfor Agency • Develop competence in Agency priorities and work by attending weekly Team Meeting,participatingin monitoring visits, and shadowing advocacy and legal staff., • Develop understanding of agency case managementdatabaseto be able to compile reports and convey stories using current agency data., • Format externalcollateral and publicationsin accordance withagency design guidelines and accessibility standards., • Support development and donor relations communications as assigned., • Other tasks as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Undergraduate degree., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Experience creating and editing videos for social media and website use., • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital publishing workflows, and content creation tools., • Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design tools, • Experience with website content management systems., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. PreferredQualifications: • Basic understanding of accessibility, inclusive communication practices, oruser centeredcontent creation. EMPLOYMENT DETAILS This isa non-exemptfull-timehourly position. Disability Law Colorado offers a flexible hybrid work model with theoptionto work remotely, in the office, or in a blended format. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The hiring range is$26.00 to $29.00/hour, depending on experience.Employee benefits include a403(b) retirementsavings plan and medical, dental, vision, life, and short- and long-term disability insurance.DLC offers paid holidays, parental leave, annual leave, sick leave, and bereavement leave. WORK ENVIRONMENT Applicants for this position must live in Colorado or be willing torelocateto Colorado before beginning employment. We allow employees to work from home or from our Denver office, with the understanding that they will meet in person as needed to conduct their job functions and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and partners.
