WORK SHIFT: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM SUMMARY The Manufacturing Supervisor leads and supports production operations to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role champions continuous improvement, builds high-performance teams, and fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and lean manufacturing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide daily leadership and direction to manufacturing team members in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment., • Champion and lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), • Implement and sustain 6S and safety programs to maintain a clean and safe work environment, • Coordinate work assignments and monitor team performance, • Act as a coach and mentor for production staff, ensuring adherence to quality and productivity standards, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production schedules, quality targets, and customer requirements are met, • Complete administrative tasks in the MRP/ERP system, including scheduling, job tracking, and data validation, • Ensure production metrics are accurate, visible, and used to drive improvement, • Develop and train team leads in production processes, performance metrics, and system usage, • Promote and model company values, culture, and safety expectations, • Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment utilization, and product quality, • Work collaboratively with other supervisors and departments to ensure operational alignment, • Participate in Lean activities and support a culture of continuous improvement, • Directly supervise manufacturing personnel, • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions, • High school diploma or GED required, • Associate degree preferred, • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing preferred, • At least 3 years of supervisory experience required, • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles, • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documentation and quality standards, • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., job tracking, scheduling, validation), • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Basic math proficiency and ability to interpret performance metrics, • Must be able to read, speak, and understand English, • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and manual handling, • Must be able to lift/move up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 30 lbs occasionally All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or age.
