We are seeking an experienced, motivated Senior Systems Engineer with strong Microsoft ecosystem expertise, infrastructure troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while building trusted relationships with clients. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with professionalism, strong documentation habits, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to support client-sensitive environments where security, confidentiality, auditability, and operational maturity are critical. This is not a scripted help desk role. We are looking for engineers who can independently own escalations, communicate confidently with executive stakeholders, and operate comfortably in environments where security and operational maturity matter. Experience supporting or engineering Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments is highly desirable, particularly involving secure and scalable infrastructure utilizing EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS services, though AWS experience is not required for the right candidate. Candidates located in or near the Palm Beach, FL area are strongly preferred due to the client-facing and dispatchable nature of the role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Administration • Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments including:, • Exchange Online, • SharePoint Online, • Microsoft Teams, • OneDrive, • Licensing and tenant configuration, • Shared mailboxes, • Distribution groups, • User lifecycle management, • Support executive-facing collaboration and productivity initiatives while maintaining strong operational and security standards Identity & Access Management • Administer Microsoft Entra ID environments including:, • User and group management, • Dynamic groups, • Enterprise applications, • SSO/SAML integrations, • MFA, • App registrations, • Role-based access control (RBAC), • Design, implement, and support Conditional Access policies including:, • MFA enforcement, • Trusted locations, • Device compliance enforcement, • Guest and external access controls, • Risk-based access scenarios, • Support hybrid identity environments including:, • Active Directory, • Entra ID Connect / Cloud Sync, • Identity synchronization, • Password/account troubleshooting Endpoint & Device Management • Administer Microsoft Intune environments including:, • Device enrollment, • Compliance policies, • Configuration profiles, • Application deployment, • Endpoint security policies, • Windows Autopilot, • Endpoint troubleshooting and retirement, • Support endpoint security and compliance initiatives across client environments Infrastructure & Systems Administration • Support Windows Server infrastructure including:, • Active Directory administration, • Group Policy management, • DNS/DHCP, • File services and permissions, • Certificate management, • Server patching, • Backup validation, • General infrastructure troubleshooting, • Manage and troubleshoot a wide range of network devices including:, • SonicWall, • Fortinet, • Palo Alto, • Unifi/Ubiquiti, • Cisco, • Meraki, • Dell, • HP, • Configure and troubleshoot:, • Site-to-site VPNs, • AnyConnect, • L2TP, • VLANs, • NAT, • ACLs, • Routing protocols, • Packet captures and advanced network troubleshooting Security Operations • Support and troubleshoot security tooling including:, • EDR/MDR platforms, • Antivirus and endpoint protection, • Email security, • Vulnerability management platforms, • SIEM/logging systems, • Phishing protection, • Security alert triage and remediation, • Assist with remediation and response activities related to malware, phishing, spam filtering, and endpoint threats MSP Service Delivery & Client Support • Operate effectively within MSP service delivery standards including:, • ConnectWise PSA workflows, • RMM platforms, • SLA adherence, • Escalation ownership, • Time entry discipline, • Documentation standards, • Executive and client communication, • Provide advanced remote and on-site technical support for client environments throughout the Palm Beach area., • Maintain complete and accurate ticket documentation from initial intake through final resolution and client follow-up, • Assist with mentoring and knowledge transfer for junior engineers and support staff Cloud Infrastructure (Preferred) • Support and assist with AWS cloud infrastructure initiatives involving:, • EC2, • S3, • VPC, • IAM, • RDS, • Assist with secure cloud architecture, deployment, and infrastructure management where applicable QUALIFICATIONS • 35+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer, Escalation Engineer, or senior MSP support role, • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, licensing, and tenant administration, • Advanced Microsoft Entra ID administration experience, • Hands-on Intune administration experience, • Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration skills, • Experience designing and troubleshooting Conditional Access policies, • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, VPNs, firewall concepts, and infrastructure troubleshooting, • Experience supporting security-focused environments with strong access control and compliance expectations, • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure concepts highly desirable, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage escalations, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive-facing professionalism, • Strong ticket documentation and operational discipline, • Previous MSP experience strongly preferred, • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred;
