Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a Quality Associate to support data-driven quality assurance activities within our manufacturing facility. In this role, the candidate will collect, enter, and organize production data. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication across multiple departments. This is a hands-on position involving data collection from various areas of the plant, scanning and entering quality data, and performing statistical evaluations to support continuous improvement initiatives. Duties • Collect quality-related data from various production areas, including written logs, paper records, and operator sheets., • Perform accurate data entry, scanning, and digital organization of production and quality records., • Use advanced Excel functions to analyze quality data, build statistical graphs, and generate key quality metrics., • Create and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and data summaries for daily, weekly, or monthly quality reviews., • Assist in identifying process deviations by analyzing data trends and communicating findings to the Quality Manager and production personnel., • Collaborate with production operators and supervisors to gather missing information, clarify records, or correct inconsistencies in submitted data., • Become familiar with facility manufacturing processes to better understand data behavior, root causes, and quality trends., • Support quality investigations and continuous improvement efforts through structured data collection, organization, and interpretation., • HS diploma. Associate’s degree preferred., • Prior experience in a quality data entry, or manufacturing support role preferred., • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including formulas, charting, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data analysis tools., • Understanding of basic statistical concepts, • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills., • Ability to perform accurate and timely data entry., • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and traveling to various workstations to collect information., • Effective communication skills and ability to work well with operators and other staff., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Company DescriptionLuvata in Waterbury, Connecticut manufactures copper stabilized NbTi and Nb3Sn conductors for a variety of superconducting applications.
