The company has doubled turnover in recent years, continues to win new customer opportunities, and now requires a capable Finance & Accounts Coordinator to bring structure, ownership and visibility to its day-to-day accounts function.\n\nThis is not a narrow credit control role.\n\nIt is a hands-on, business-critical position where you will become the central link between customers, operations, directors and external accountants. You will help the business understand what money is coming in, what needs paying, where risks may sit, and how cashflow can be managed effectively as the company continues to grow.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will take ownership of customer account management, credit control, debtor follow-up, cashflow forecasting and finance administration.\n\nResponsibilities will include:\n\nManaging customer statements and follow-up activity.\nChasing outstanding payments professionally and confidently.\nConducting customer credit checks and recommending credit limits.\nMonitoring aged debt and payment commitments.\nMaintaining accurate records in Sage.\nProducing cashflow forecasts and visibility of expected receipts.\nSupporting supplier payment planning.\nResolving customer account queries, including invoice and POD-related issues.\nPreparing information for external accountants.\nSupporting month-end close and management reporting.\nWorking closely with directors, operations and the wider administration team.The business operates in a busy logistics environment where accuracy, pace and attention to detail matter.
