WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR InterTradeIreland is seeking to appoint a Director of Enterprise Developmentto join our Senior Leadership Team which also includes the CEO, the Director of Strategy, the Director of Trade and the Director of Corporate Services. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role you will be a key contributor to all decisions regarding the strategic direction of the organisation, providing input into our short-term and long-term future priorities and plans. You will be responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of the Corporate Strategy and annual Business Plans. You will lead on key strategic engagements as well as the development of all island strategic projects driving Enterprise Growth, Collaborative Innovation, All Island Clustering, Entrepreneurship and Investor Readiness. The Director of Enterprise Development will attend InterTradeIreland monthly Board meetings, Departmental Oversight & Liaison meetings and North South Ministerial Council meetings as required. The Director of Enterprise Development leads the Innovation and Entrepreneurship team, supported by two Assistant Directors and currently has overall responsibility for a team of 20 staff and a number of external specialist contractors. THE IDEAL PERSON WILL HAVE: A degree qualification or equivalent third level professional qualification. A minimum of 3 yearssenior management experienceworking in an economic or business development role. A strong capacity for strategic thinking, with experience in leading or significantly contributing to the development of an economic or enterprise growth strategy that underpins the direction of an organisation. Proven experience of developing strategy initiatives or programmes in response to business needs, thus demonstrating a high level of commercial awareness. Mechanical Coordinator Newry Permanent (Mon - Fri) The Role: As the Mechanical Coordinator, you will lead the coordination of mechanical systems across a range of residential and commercial projects throughout the Louth, Meath, Dublin and Wicklow areas. The role will involve regular travel to new construction sites and working closely with main contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure design and installation standards are met and exceeded. You will act as the principal interface between preconstruction, procurement, and construction teams while also supporting and mentoring our mechanical coordinator team. You will play a vital role in enhancing preconstruction workflows and job setup processes using both our digital construction platform and the client platform. You will be technically proficient and practically minded and must be proactive towards issue resolution and be solutions focused. Responsibilities: Lead mechanical coordination across assigned projects from preconstruction through to handover to the construction team Chair preconstruction coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and main contractors Act as the central liaison between design consultants, main contractors, and internal teams Report regularly to senior management and board level on preconstruction progress Support and mentor junior mechanical coordinators, contributing to team development Assist with the improvement of internal workflows and documentation processes Oversee job setup and pre-site readiness using Procore and internal systems Represent the company in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders Work proactively to identify and resolve coordination issues before they impact delivery Any other duties as requested or required by the Senior Management Team.
