The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for overseeing the completion of technology components within IT projects. They will perform liaison between technical SMEs and business stakeholders providing guidance on the customer journey to ensure that: • Business goals are converted into a suitable project framework., • Requirements are robustly defined in a manner that allows suppliers to be engaged appropriately., • Technical solutions align with enterprise IT strategy., • Design collateral is always produced to a high standard covers the end-to-end service and is capable of assurance by the Architecture Governance function., • Delivery is coordinated across multiple technical disciplines., • Acting as the senior technology authority for a specific project or programme ideally within in a Manufacturing Environment., • Collaborating with project management teams to interpret business needs and establish project boundaries that will inform the necessary technical specifications., • Demonstrable experience in the production of technical design documentation working within a multi-supplier environment planning and delivering quality results within agreed time-scales., • Producing holistic service designs which not only cover technology aspects but which also address service support management and maintenance needs., • Experience across full project lifecycle from initiation to decommissioning., • Ability to model current target and transition states and define migration methods between these. Ability to decompose these into low-level tasks for assignment to engineering teams., • Understanding of business analysis methods., • Provision of technical coordination across multiple teams and assignment of roles and responsibilities, • Liaising with business governance functions e.g. Senior Management Security Enterprise Architecture Service Acceptance etc., • Presenting complex technical architecture solutions to the end customer., • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, • SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, • SUSE/Red Hat Linux 7/8/9, • NAS/SAN technologies, • Windows 10/11 SCOM and SCCM, • Client and client server applications, • General networking knowledge, • Knowledge of public cloud platforms an advantage but not essential, • Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS also an advantage but not essential Qualifications : • Knowledge of a broad range of technology solutions within complex enterprises., • Experience of Network Security and Storage technology solutions., • Appreciation and understanding of Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure, • Application integration migration and business transformation., • TOGAF an advantage but not essential, • Service architecture business analysis and service management awareness, • SC Cleared or eligible Additional Information : Netcompany Academy Through our Netcompany Academy we offer a diverse range of courses seminars and certifications carefully curated to support your development.
