This Financial Controller role offers real visibility and influence, working closely with senior stakeholders in a Bristol-based hybrid environment. You'll join a team that values clarity, sound judgement, and continuous improvement. How you'll make an impact Lead financial control across a multi-entity structure, strengthening processes and reducing risk Deliver accurate monthly management accounts with clear insight and commentary Own the year-end process, including statutory accounts and audit delivery Partner with senior leaders to support budgeting and forecasting decisions Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts to support financial resilience Improve financial controls, policies, and compliance with regulatory requirements Provide clear reporting to leadership, board, and external stakeholders Support funder reporting with accurate, timely financial information Develop a responsive, well-structured finance function Lead, coach, and develop the finance team Why you're a great fit Essential Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) Strong background in management accounts, statutory accounts, and financial reporting Experience working in a multi-entity or group structure Understanding of charity accounting and regulatory requirements Experience with cloud-based finance systems Track record of leading and developing finance teams Desirable Experience working with external funders or grant reporting What you'll get in return As Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting long-term sustainability.
