IT Logistics Supervisor London Fulltime/Permanent Salary: Up to £46,000 DOE Job Description We are seeking an IT Hardware Logistics Supervisor to lead a team of hardware engineers delivering logistics and stores operations across client sites. This is a site-based role, working closely with internal teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure efficient and secure handling of IT equipment. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise onsite logistics and stores operations across client environments, • Manage and support a team of Logistics Engineers, allocating workload to meet service level agreements (SLAs), • Oversee goods-in/goods-out processes, stock control, inventory tracking, and asset lifecycle management, • Ensure secure handling, storage, labelling, transfer, and disposal of IT hardware, including data-bearing equipment and e-waste, • Coordinate deliveries, collections, spare parts dispatch, and supplier engagement, • Maintain accurate records across asset management systems, scanners, and internal tracking tools, • Plan and schedule logistics activities to support both business-as-usual operations and project delivery, • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, quality procedures, and client requirements, • Identify, manage, and escalate risks or issues where necessary, • Produce operational reports, documentation, and activity updates, • Act as a key point of contact for clients, internal teams, and third-party suppliers Requirements • Proven experience supervising logistics, stores, or asset management operations within an IT or technology environment, • Strong understanding of inventory control, asset tracking, and secure equipment handling, • Experience using asset management and ticketing systems, • Demonstrated leadership skills, including task allocation and team support, • High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, • Strong communication skills with experience engaging clients and stakeholders, • Good understanding of health & safety and quality compliance standards, • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider service delivery team Essential Experience • Experience working within a corporate or enterprise IT environment, • Background in office-based IT hardware deployment or logistics operations, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word), • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and multitasking abilities, • Experience working under pressure in fast-paced environments, • Advanced knowledge of asset management and ticketing systems, • Understanding of change management and service delivery processes, • Experience mentoring, training, and supporting team members, • Ability to supervise day-to-day operations and support project delivery through to completion, • Experience in incident management, escalation processes, and project delivery within large-scale environments, • Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including recruitment, training, and performance management, • Experience managing third-party vendors and outsourced services, • Ability to build strong working relationships across teams and departments Desirable • Formal training or qualifications within Information Technology, • Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow), • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
