The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food safety, and the ability to manage all aspects of the kitchen. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation along with the other team members. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation. Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Implement cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency without compromising quality. Requirements: Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments. A passion for food and a commitment to delivering outstanding culinary experiences for guests.
