Exciting opportunity to join a leading Facilities Management service provider on a high-profile, newly developed site in the Oxfordshire area. CBW is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a modern and highly technical facility. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary, benefits, and company car. The site includes a mix of specialist operational areas such as controlled environments, laboratories, plant rooms, and commercial office space. As the on-site lead, you will ensure all maintenance and compliance standards are met while supporting a critical operation with minimal downtime. Hours for work: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 17:00pm Participation in the on-call rota is required (1 in 4) Key duties & responsibilities • Serve as the primary on-site contact for all client liaison, ensuring a professional and responsive service is consistently delivered, • Oversee the completion of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities in line with schedules and compliance standards, • Coordinate and close out actions from audits, client meetings, and site inspections in a timely manner, • Compile and submit monthly performance reports and updates as required, • Review and sign off all job sheets for clarity, accuracy, and any necessary remedial actions, • Ensure accurate, real-time logging of all work activities using handheld PDAs and site CAFM systems, • Provide detailed documentation of works carried out, raising any follow-up tasks where needed, • Respond to all reactive and emergency call-outs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations, • Diagnose plant faults and breakdowns, raise quotations for repairs, and liaise with management for approval, • Ensure all plant and building services are maintained in safe, efficient working order, • Undertake electrical inspection and testing duties in line with regulations and best practices, • Conduct routine site audits and ensure full statutory compliance is maintained across all building systems, • Supervise and coordinate all on-site contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with site rules and safety procedures, • Recognised Electrical qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline, • C&G 2391 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Inspection and Testing, • 18th Edition (BS7671) certification essential, • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, • A mechanical qualification or understanding of mechanical systems is advantageous, • Proven experience leading or supervising an engineering team, • Previous exposure to controlled, process, or pharmaceutical environments desirable, • Solid background in building services and M&E maintenance operations
