We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join our National Distribution Centre based in the West Midlands (WS2 8DQ). Working 37.5 hours per week. The Role Reporting to the Quality Manager. Your main responsibilities are to ensure complete customer care by maintaining the highest standards of Quality. To maintain good levels of communication to enable individuals (internal/external) to understand and comply with all matters of Quality and safety. Key Tasks • Authority to pass or reject the product at Goods Inwards inspection., • Authority to enter, remove or scrap products in the quarantine area., • Authority to sign off COC’s., • Inspection at Goods Inwards to be carried out as per the relevant BMS instructions., • Responsible for standards control., • Responsible to ensure all gauges are maintained and calibrated at the pre-determined intervals., • To assist customers with any application/quality concerns as and when required., • Quality issues to be resolved in a timely manner., • Communicate with customers via email/phone and record concerns on the customer issue log., • ISIR to be completed at customer request., • Concessions to be raised and issued to the appropriate Key Account Co-ordinator to supply to the customer., • Vendor drawing approvals to be reviewed. TR customer to be consulted as required., • Manual COC’s to be completed as and when requested by the Key Account Co-ordinator., • 8D corrective actions to be completed on customer request on the CAR programme., • Responsible for quarantine rejections to be monitored on a monthly basis., • Responsible for tidiness of the warehouse., • To work to BS, Din standard and customer drawings whilst maintaining company procedures set out in the Quality Assurance manual., • To support all customers (both internal/external) on all Quality issues., • CAR programme – create, check and answer quality questions and close out when completed., • Complete QA reports on a monthly basis., • Stock masters – initial review and final quality authorisation, as and when required., • Approved signatories for Location’s certification., • Ensure the company TQM and Health & Safety policies are followed. The Candidate The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience of working within a Quality role. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to communicate and build good relationships. You will be able to work to deadlines, remain focused at all times and have excellent attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For: • Minimum 1 year experience in e-commerce trading, online merchandising, or digital commercial roles., • Proven ability to drive sales and margin growth through onsite trading and conversion rate optimisation., • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify / Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, or similar., • Experience trading on online marketplaces such as Amazon, B&Q, Tesco, Shein, or similar., • Strong understanding of onsite merchandising tools, onsite search, and analytics platforms including GA4., • Experience using A/B testing tools and applying a test-and-learn mindset., • Solid understanding of basic SEO for e-commerce and paid traffic performance drivers., • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear commercial actions., • High attention to detail with strong execution and QA standards., • Commercially driven, organised, proactive, and comfortable working to fast-paced weekly trading rhythms.
