They are seeking a QA - Lead Automation Architect to take charge of their automation strategy, leading a team of forward-thinking engineers to deliver world-class solutions for complex enterprise systems. This is more than a hands-on role - you'll be a critical driver of quality engineering culture, pushing innovation, shaping automation frameworks from the ground up, and mentoring others to do the same. As a Lead Automation Architect, you will: • Lead and grow a team of talented QA and automation engineers, • Architect test automation solutions using modern tools like Playwright, Cypress, and WebdriverIO, • Promote shift-left testing, embedding test automation early into every development lifecycle, • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, • Define and track quality KPIs to continuously improve software delivery, • Champion best practices across testing disciplines including unit, integration, UI, API, and performance, • Be a voice of influence in Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and cross-team collaborationYou're the Lead Automation Architect we're looking for if you have:, • A proven track record leading QA/test automation teams in fast-paced environments, • Expertise building scalable, maintainable frameworks from scratch using JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python, • Strong command of OOP principles, SOLID, and clean code practices, • Experience with BDD/ATDD using Cucumber or SpecFlow, • Knowledge of web, mobile, API/microservices testing and contract testing (e.g. PACT), • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins), • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure Lead Automation Architect Key Benefits:, • Up to £110,000 base salary (DOE), • Hybrid working (2 days on-site in London), • Bonus scheme (10%-15%), • Pension and private healthcare, • Fast-tracked progression and leadership opportunitiesReady to lead from the front?
