Key Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage incoming phone calls and correspondence, including email replies., • Prepare and issue accurate quotes to clients., • Create and process purchase orders and delivery notes., • Track job progress and maintain meticulous records., • Upload invoices using Dext., • Organize and securely store important company information and documentation., • Provide regular updates and maintain clear, proactive communication with customers., • Order necessary office equipment and supplies to ensure continuous operation., • Arrange transportation and logistics as required., • Schedule and coordinate meetings effectively., • Prepare comprehensive job packs for employees., • Assist Managing Directors, enabling them to concentrate on the physical workload on the shop floor., • Occasionally undertake deliveries to customers., • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients when necessary. Skills and Qualifications: • Proven ability to work independently while also being a strong team player., • A valid driver's license is preferred due to occasional delivery requirements.

    JOB DETAILS Job Title: Residential Support Worker Company: Accalia Care Services LTD Accalia Care Services is a Residential Childcare Provider based in Oldbury, Moseley, Yardley Wood, and Kings Heath. We are currently seeking Residential Support Workers with a passion for working with young people. Preferably, candidates should have experience of working with children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. Caring for children always involves a high degree of personal responsibility. The primary role of the Residential Support Worker (RSW) is to work as part of the staff team in a children’s home under the direction, guidance and supervision of the home management team. RSW’s are required to conform to appropriate standards of conduct at all times and to be mindful that they serve as important role models to the children in their care. Shift patterns consist of 8am - 11pm + a sleep in till 8am the next morning (15 hour shifts) The establishment provides a stimulating and engaging environment for Children and Young People, which requires staff members who are enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking. Previous experience of working within residential childcare settings is preferable, however we will consider relevant transferrable experience and skills. Candidates must be willing to complete a Level Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce, alongside working in our homes. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and full references will be obtained. You will be required to work on a shift basis, which includes nights/sleepovers and weekends. Responsibilities • Provide personalised support to children in accordance with their care plans, promoting their emotional and physical development., • Assist children with daily routines ensuring they feel safe and valued., • Engage children in educational and recreational activities that stimulate learning and socialisation., • Support children during outings or appointments by driving them safely to designated locations., • Maintain clear communication with families, colleagues, and other professionals regarding the child's progress and any concerns., • Document observations and updates related to each child's care needs accurately and confidentially., • Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment that encourages independence and confidence among children. Qualifications • Experience working with children or in childcare settings is essential., • Valid full driving licence with the ability to drive children safely to appointments or activities., • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with children, families, and team members., • Knowledge of child development principles and experience developing or following care plans is advantageous., • Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation., • Compassionate nature with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
