This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role supporting senior leadership while managing essential HR processes within a busy and professional school environment. The Role – Head’s PA and HR Administrator You will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher while overseeing key HR functions. This role is central to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Head’s office and maintaining compliant and efficient HR processes. Key Responsibilities • Manage the Head’s diary, email correspondence, and meeting schedules, • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, maintaining a professional front office presence, • Prepare confidential reports and proofread school communications and publications, • Coordinate recruitment processes in line with KCSIE requirements, • Prepare staff contracts and manage DBS and pre-employment checks, • Maintain accurate personnel records and the Single Central Register, • Ensure HR documentation complies with data protection and regulatory standards, • Support school events including Open Days, tours, and Prizegiving, • Contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the Head’s office Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will: • Have proven experience in a senior administrative, PA, or HR support role, • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, • Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, • Be able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure, • Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality, • Hold GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above, • Ideally hold a relevant qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 3), • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare What the School Offers 1.
