We are currently looking for a Business Coordinator in the Derby area to join a well-established social housing contractor on a permanent, full-time basis.\n\nThis opportunity is with a respected and growing contractor specialising in social housing, refurbishment, voids and major repairs. You'll be joining a business that values organisation, customer service and operational excellence, with genuine opportunities for career progression within a supportive team environment.\n\nI'd be keen to see applications from anyone with experience in social housing, construction, maintenance, repairs, scheduling, administration or operational coordination, whether you've previously worked as a Business Coordinator, Repairs Coordinator, Scheduler, Contract Administrator, Operations Coordinator, Office Manager or in a similar role.\n\nAs a Business Coordinator, you will be:\n\nManaging daily diaries and scheduling works for operatives and subcontractors\nMonitoring work progress and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed KPIs and service level agreements\nProducing reports, trackers and performance data for management teams and clients\nCoordinating void property refurbishments from instruction through to completion\nSupporting the delivery of major repairs, planned works and refurbishment projects\nCreating and maintaining project programmes and Gantt charts\nRaising works orders, purchase orders and project documentation\nLiaising with clients, tenants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery\nManaging customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally and efficiently\nMonitoring compliance documentation, certifications and health & safety records\nSupporting project reporting, meetings and general operational administrationI'd love to speak to anyone who has:\n\nPrevious experience within Social Housing, Housing Associations or Local Authority contracts\nExperience working within construction, maintenance, repairs, refurbishment or property services environments\nStrong administrative, organisational and coordination skills\nExperience using scheduling systems, job management software or CRM systems\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel\nThe ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentThis Business Coordinator role is offering the following benefits:\n\n£27,000 - £32,000 salary (depending on experience)\nPrivate medical insurance\nCompany pension scheme\nAdditional annual leave entitlement\nSick pay scheme\nFree on-site parking\nCareer progression opportunities\nSupportive and collaborative working environment\nPermanent, full-time positionLocation & Travel\nThis role is based full-time from the company's office in Pride Park, Derby.\n\nIf this Business Coordinator role sounds like something you'd be interested in, apply online or call Alex on (phone number removed)
