Measurement Control Technician Working location: Derby - Onsite. Working Pattern: 4 days - 4 nights shift rotation generous shift allowance An exciting opportunity has arisen for a measurement and Control Technician (MCT) to join our team within the Development & Experimental Engineering (D&EE) Civil Aerospace team in Derby. As a MCT you will be trained to provide high quality support over a wide range of measurement and control solutions providing the first line response to measurement and control issues. What you will be doing: As a MCT you will provide cover for whole engine facilities you will be trained to provide high quality support over a wide range of measurement and control solutions across the Test Bed Facility itself and the Test Vehicle. The role predominantly covers Trent Engines but also supports legacy Fleet Engines and Technology Demonstrators. MCTs are the first line of support to both reactive and proactive technical operations. You will tackle fault diagnosis deliver smart fixes and escalate complex issues with precision. From Maintaining calibration equipment to driving effective containment actions you will play a key part in operations running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: • Complete fault-finding investigations on Measurement and Control systems implement containment actions and close to root cause., • Calibration and coordination of Test Facility measurement and conditioning equipment, • Maintenance of Measurement and Control systems infrastructure, • Manufacture of looms and electrical slave equipment, • Identification and implement improvements to operational efficiency, • To manage personal workload prioritisation to meet customer expectations and to ensure realistic targets are in place and achieved., • Accountability to ensure continuity of work across shifts and clear communication with customers and stakeholders Who were looking for: • Electrical biased Apprenticeship., • Good knowledge of current products test facilities and technologies., • Electrical fault finding, • General Application support, • Knowledge of Measurement and Control Systems Why Rolls-Royce Rolls-Royce is one of the most enduring and iconic brands in the world and has been at the forefront of innovation for over a century.
