About the role This pivotal role drives Lightspeed's mission to deliver unparalleled broadband experiences by enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Technical Business Analyst will be at the heart of strategic initiatives, identifying and meticulously documenting detailed business requirements for both day-to-day operations and strategic change projects. This includes collaborating with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders including Broadband ISP, Network and Central services to shape end-to-end processes and support data architecture within the business. What we need you to do • Develop clear, complete and consistent requirements specifications to support implementation and new ways of working., • Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and understand detailed business requirements including edge cases., • Analyse and document current processes, workflows and information exchanges to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements., • Translate complex business needs into actionable technical features and user stories for internal and external development teams., • Work very closely with PMO and project managers to deliver documentation and output as required., • Work very closely with internal dev/ops engineers in the OSS / BSS team ans external third parties to implement features described in technical user stories., • Design and document new business processes to accommodate changes and contribute to business change plans., • Contribute to high-level project plans, identify risks and maintain functional documentation., • Participate in agile, continuous improvement and waterfall activities including testing and evaluating operational processes. What we need from you • Demonstrate 3-5 years’ experience in a Technical Business Analysis role, • Proficiency in Business Process Mapping (BPM) and Business Process Reengineering (BPR)., • Proven experience creating comprehensive process documentation., • Strong understanding of data requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation., • Experience with enterprise systems and applications including a foundational understanding of Operational Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) in telecommunications., • Experience of ecosystems which includes Salesforce or other CRM systems and knowledge of integration systems such as MuleSoft and the like, • Participate in change management activities including stakeholder communication and training development, • Participate in vendor management activities including requirement validation and acceptance testing, • Knowledge of with Open APIs and API-Led approach for standardised integration patterns, • Understanding of UK telecommunications regulatory requirements (Ofcom regulations), • Knowledge of GDPR compliance requirements for customer data handling, • Conduct impact assessments for regulatory changes affecting OSS/BSS systems, • Ability to understand and translate regulatory requirements into technical requirements and specifications, • Support cloud and data migration initiatives and digital transformation programs, • Desirable experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting (queries, stored procedures and data validation) Personal Qualities, Characteristics and Behaviours • Ability to establish and manage structures, processes and standards., • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyse business processes and workflows., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels and simplify complex information., • Ability to work effectively within a team and become a valued member., • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure., • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work under own initiative following 'intent' based leadership., • Possessing a 'one-team-one-goal' working ethos. Qualifications & Certifications (Desirable) • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certification, • Bachelor’s degree, • Salesforce Associate certification
