Key responsibilities include: • Oversee the development effort on the Auto360 product suite, whether delivered internally or externally via a third-party development partner, seeking:, • Adherence to best practice and group policies, • Strong evidence-backed security posture, • Ensuring the Development team is working effectively and delivering value consistently, aligned to the Product roadmap, • Helping to facilitate (and run, where necessary) agile ceremonies, ensuring concerns, barriers, blockers and other items are appropriately raised, escalated and resolved with support of the Product team, • Line-management of development team where required including, but not limited to coaching/mentoring, 1:1 meetings, appraisals and personal development plans, identifying training needs, motivating and managing performance, identifying skill gaps and plans to mitigate them and succession planning, • Working with internal and external talent acquisition stakeholders to assess, interview and select candidates to hire, • Writing job specifications aligned to business and team needs, • Articulate technical debt to Product, highlighting critical timescales (e.g., deprecation dates, supplier switch-offs, etc), • Contribute regularly to conversations around process and systems, to help ensure maximum efficiency across the company, • Supporting the compliance teams with the scoping of penetration tests and the analysis of the findings, to be fed into the product roadmap (aligned to the group remediation schedule), • Supporting the Compliance team with information security assessments, coordinating with the development team and other technical stakeholders to provide guidance on answers We are looking for: • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Apex, including bulkification, governor limits and async processing, • Strong expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and modern Salesforce UI architecture, • High competency in Salesforce data modelling, security, sharing rules and large data volume handling, • Strong experience with Salesforce integration patterns including REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture, • Proficiency with Salesforce DevOps processes including CI/CD, source-driven development and release management, • Proven ability to lead complex Salesforce development initiatives and mentor mid-to-senior engineers, • Understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous integration patterns, • Working knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, ECS Fargate, SQS, and DynamoDB is beneficial, • Familiarity with off-platform development in languages such as Java or Go is advantageous, • High level of understanding of architectural patterns and distributed system design principles, • Strong experience working with APIs (both REST and SOAP), • High level of understanding of technical security and secure development methodologies within the Salesforce ecosystem, • Experience working in Agile, multi-team delivery environments, • Experience working with Salesforce Automotive Cloud is beneficial but not essential In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package is second to none. Systems Architect, Datacentre Process Improvements (EMEA/JAPAC) Location: UK Remote, with travel requirements About the Role Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is experiencing rapid expansion, particularly across EMEA and JAPAC. We are seeking a senior Systems Architect to own large-scale process improvements, productivity, and automation initiatives across our global datacentre operations in EMEA and JAPAC. You will focus on orchestrating process and quality transformation—analyzing current practices, diagnosing bottlenecks, and implementing robust, scalable solutions that radically improve reliability, efficiency, and the time-to-launch for new sites. Key Responsibilities • Drive critical productivity and automation initiatives at scale across EMEA and JAPAC datacentres, integrating consistent architectural standards, processes, and tools., • Lead the standardization of design patterns for datacentre deployments across EMEA and JAPAC to simplify and automate hardware operations and site onboarding., • Identify, diagnose, and resolve systemic process bottlenecks—from problem recognition through analysis, solution design, and successful implementation., • Champion quality-focused process improvements using recognized best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean)., • Participate in on-site reviews as required (typically monthly) to validate alignment between process documentation and actual site operations. Required Skills and Experience • Extensive experience architecting/engineering large-scale enterprise process or quality improvements, preferably in technical infrastructure or datacentre environments., • Strong hands-on experience with process diagnostics, process mapping, root cause analysis, and designing scalable, actionable solutions., • Familiarity with quality frameworks and tools such as ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar., • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical and process concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders., • Ability to travel (typically monthly; up to 25%) for site reviews and hands-on process validation., • Comfortable working in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments, and proactively driving change.
