Role Overview Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for data and problem-solving? We are looking for a Junior R&D Data Analyst to help us capture, process, and analyse data from experiments and machines. You will work closely with our R&D team, learning how to turn raw data into insights that drive innovation and improve processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, laboratory work, and applied research while building a strong foundation in R&D and manufacturing technologies. Key Responsibilities Data Capture & Management • Assist the R&D team in collecting and organizing data from lab experiments and deployed machines., • Support the development and maintenance of digital and manual data collection systems., • Help ensure data is accurate, well-documented, and easy to access for analysis. Data Analysis & Insights • Learn to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement., • Support the team with statistical analysis, simple modeling, and reporting., • Translate findings into clear and practical insights for internal teams and clients. Visualization & Communication • Help create dashboards, reports, and KPIs to communicate data effectively., • Present data in a clear and accessible way to support decision-making., • Assist in preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders. General Responsibilities • Support R&D projects, helping to bring ideas from concept to delivery., • Assist with lab operations and experiments under guidance., • Learn and follow health and safety protocols in the laboratory environment., • Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and workflows. Who We’re Looking For Qualifications & Skills • Recent graduate or studying in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field., • Familiarity with Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus (training provided if needed)., • Interest in data analysis and turning data into actionable insights., • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to learn new tools and techniques., • Good communication skills, both written and verbal., • Interest in materials, manufacturing, or R&D environments is desirable but not essential. Personal Qualities • Eager to learn and grow in a hands-on, technical environment., • Comfortable working in a team and contributing ideas., • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work., • Analytical mindset and curiosity to explore data., • Adaptable, flexible, and willing to take initiative., • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and automation is a bonus.
