Part 2 Architectural Assistants & Newly Qualified Architects (up to 2-3 years PQE) London | Full-time, Permanent | £31,000 - £45,000 Overview We’re working with a purpose-driven, design-led practice in London known for shaping urban environments with character, narrative, and community at the heart. They're on the lookout for ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistants and recently qualified Architects (up to 2-3 years post Part 3) who want to be part of a collaborative studio working across a broad range of UK residential projects. From smaller scale neighbourhood developments to large, high-density schemes and towers up to 35 storeys. You’ll join a team that thrives on design thinking, storytelling, and people-first planning. If you’re drawn to places with real identity, and love expressing big ideas through sketching, visuals and an iterative design process, this one’s for you. Responsibilities • Contribute to projects across early RIBA stages - from feasibility and concept to detailed planning, • Work on UK residential schemes ranging from low-density neighbourhoods to high-rise developments, • Collaborate on masterplans, collections of buildings, and large urban blocks, • Produce engaging visual presentations, diagrams, and sketch concepts that communicate design narrative clearly, • Support project leads and wider teams with design research, AI-assisted workflows, and Revit-based documentation (training provided), • Work closely with a team that values community impact, placemaking, and design process Requirements • For Architects: demonstrable experience on UK residential projects is essential, • For Part 2s: a passion for placemaking and early-stage design is key; UK residential experience ideal but not essential, • Strong visual storytelling skills: hand sketching, concept work, and diagrams are all highly valued, • Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit preferred, • Interest in or openness to learning AI-assisted tools like Midjourney, • Confident working to scale, especially on larger schemes or tower typologies, • A portfolio that showcases process, narrative, and people-first design If this sounds like you, would love to chat.
