International Sales Director - DIY Do you have a strong track record of driving international sales across European and Middle Eastern markets? Have you led international distributor networks and influenced commercial strategy at a global level? Are you an accomplished commercial leader within the consumer goods sector looking to take your next step? MacGregor Black is partnering with a Leading Consumer Brand in the search for an International Sales Director - DIY. This is a permanent role with global scope, offered on a remote basis. As the International Sales Director, you will take full ownership of international commercial performance outside of the UK, with a focus on expanding market presence, optimising distributor relationships, and driving long-term revenue growth. This role will report into the VP of International Sales and play a key part in shaping the company’s global sales strategy. Key Responsibilities: • Define and deliver the international sales strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and other priority global regions., • Own the international P&L and be accountable for meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets., • Lead and develop high-performing relationships with distributors and channel partners., • Identify and secure new business opportunities and untapped markets, in line with strategic goals., • Oversee the launch of new products internationally, working cross-functionally with marketing, regulatory, and operations teams., • Create and implement annual business plans with distributors to ensure sustainable growth and alignment with brand objectives., • Ensure commercial terms, pricing, and trade agreements are optimised for profitability and market competitiveness., • Regularly report market trends, forecasts, and performance updates to senior leadership., • Represent the business at key global trade shows, distributor meetings, and strategic industry events., • Champion the brand’s values and ensure partners deliver consistent brand execution across all markets. What We’re Looking For: • Extensive experience in senior international sales leadership roles within consumer goods, FMCG, DIY, Outdoor, or Consumer Electronics., • Proven track record of managing complex distribution networks and driving sustainable growth in international markets., • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to lead and influence across departments and cultures., • Skilled in negotiation, partner management, and market expansion., • Results-driven, entrepreneurial, and able to operate both strategically and hands-on when required., • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills., • Self-motivated and comfortable with a remote setup, with the ability to travel internationally as needed., • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
