About The Digital Trading Team The UK Digital Trading team is leading our broker Digital Trading strategy which is defining our product, technology, distribution and service requirements. Central to the team is delivery and ownership of products on various IT platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Trading Team as a Support Analyst to deliver our roadmap across various IT platforms. As a Support Analyst you will be working closely with the Digital Trading Analysts to develop your analytical skills which includes supporting testing of new changes and the ongoing maintenance of our suite of Digital products for Commercial, Personal and Specialty lines of business. Whilst maintaining our customer service by engaging with both brokers and internal customers. You will have the ability to handle a high volume of queries while testing across multiple systems. You will need to be able to learn quickly and communicate clearly across the business and with different types of stakeholders What You Will Be Doing • Support the UAT delivery with the effective testing of projects and small change to ensure the successful delivery of our roadmap., • Handle end to end management of Broker and internal customer issues, including general queries, system defects, and test and communicate when fixes have been released., • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on system queries; setting expectations, keeping everyone updated in a timely manner and escalating if needed., • Investigate the root cause of issues raised by users., • Support with Broker system demonstrations, providing system and technical training to a variety of different stakeholders., • Complete user requests where they are standard repeatable tasks., • Maintain user guides, updating them to reflect frequently raised issues or training requirements., • Regularly review and identify opportunities to improve our Digital Trading processes., • Support our Digital Trading Analysts with analysis and optimisation tasks. Must haves • Recent graduate, who is looking for a role with training and development within Insurance and technology., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, possessing the confidence to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels internally and externally., • Analytical approach to work; able to ask the right questions to get to the root cause of issues or to ensure requirements and rationale are well understood., • Enthusiastic, hardworking, and driven individual with a focus on providing the best possible service., • Ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet tight deadlines, using analysis and data to support decision making., • Ability to work independently and take ownership of a task from start to finish., • Customer service experience., • Ability to multitask and produce work with a sense of urgency, working to timescales. Job Description Field Service Engineer - Electrical Bias Full Time Heybridge/ Hybrid Job Summary: Rolls-Royce Solutions UK Ltd Marine is responsible for the Sales and Service support of the world's most advanced Propulsion and Power systems across industry sectors such as Naval, Superyachts, Commercial Marine and Land-based systems. Field Service Engineer is expected to play an Ambassadorial role for the company, with recognised technical expertise. They are responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks including replacement, upgrades or additional works for all Rolls-Royce Solutions UK supplied systems. In this role, the Field Service Engineer is also responsible for performing Service activities including the installation, commissioning and testing of new products. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrate compliance and understanding/appreciation of all relevant Health and Safety legislation applicable to the role., • Carry out Commissioning, Service and Repair of IPMS/AMS, Propulsion and Power Systems to ensure that all products and systems are ready for operation., • Carry out Installation and Commissioning of Switchboards and Power Management Systems on Vessels., • Perform maintenance and fault finding on Switchboards and power management systems., • Knowledge share and support the on-the-job development of others where appropriate., • Will identify and implement continuous improvement, the transfer of best practices and the adherence to processes and procedures., • Provide emergency on-call coverage as part of the Service Engineers' call-out rota., • To compile Technical Reports in a timely manner and to a high standard on the completion of each job detailing the work undertaken and the reasons why., • Anticipate and plan for issues and resolves problems by identifying and addressing the root cause., • To use diagnostic tools, methods and procedures to identify faults and determine the root cause of failure that can be communicated to the customer., • Capable of making judgements on technical problems with moderate scope and complexity and where the maintenance solution is not always clear cut and will rely on practice and experience to evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures., • Support other service and sales activities as directed. e.g. attending meetings with other department representatives, • To be responsible for stock control of parts and equipment that are in their care., • As and when required, perform duties in the workshop., • Will understand how their team integrates and contributes to the business that they are in to achieve objectives., • May be occasionally required to direct others on immediate basic tasks and provide technical support and guidance in-field. Person Profile: • Demonstrates the behavioural competencies required for this level., • This position requires a proactive and enthusiastic person with good communication skills, able to work both independently, or as part of a team., • Is culturally sensitive to all others and able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels., • The applicant is expected to be technically competent in Marine Propulsion and Power products., • The applicant must be capable of using both traditional and PC-based diagnostics., • The applicant must have electrical competencies and basic mechanical., • The applicant must have experience with Switchboards, both maintenance and diagnostics., • The successful applicant will be required to travel extensively within the UK & ROI and may be additionally required to spend time overseas, including product training in Germany and deployment overseas to any asset, either in port or potentially at sea under "Contractors On Deployed Operations" (CONDO) working arrangements., • The job is physically demanding. Driving Licence & Passport - Full and Clean Driving Licence, Current Passport Holder for travel. Language - Must be fluent in both written and spoken English. Literacy and Numeracy - Must be competent in both literacy and numeracy.
