Ive worked with this client for a number of years and have helped build their team. Many of those who joined came from more traditional or corporate settings and all have said the same thing that they wish theyd made the move sooner. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver bookkeeping duties for a varied client portfolio ensuring all records are maintained accurately and efficiently., • Prepare VAT returns and liaise with clients to ensure deadlines are met., • Support the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies., • Assist in the production of management accounts and other client reporting as required., • Maintain regular client contact responding to ad hoc queries and building strong lasting relationships., • Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. What Were Looking For: • Prior experience within a Chartered Accountancy Practice or Bureau environment., • A confident communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines., • Competent using Excel and familiar with cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero or QuickBooks., • Someone who enjoys variety and is eager to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
