General Maintenance Assistant We are looking for a General Maintenance Assistant for one of our clients, supporting the maintenance and upkeep of a large and varied estate in the centre of Cambridge. This is a practical, hands-on role within an in-house maintenance team and would suit someone who enjoys varied work and working in a historic environment. The role reports to the Senior Maintenance Assistant and supports skilled trades including electricians, plumbers, builders, decorators and carpenters. The post involves both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings of varying ages and construction. Role purpose The General Maintenance Assistant will provide general maintenance support across the site, carrying out a range of routine and reactive tasks. Duties include general repairs, compliance-related checks, moving furniture, condition surveys and reporting faults both verbally and in writing.
