Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee operations across our stores in East London and Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to drive performance, support store teams, and contribute to the continued success of a fast-growing and award-winning organisation. A generous company bonus scheme is included as part of this role. Previous experience within the Pawnbroking Industry would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support store teams across multiple locations, ensuring exceptional performance, customer service, and compliance., • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and enhance service delivery., • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement., • Foster a positive and engaging work environment — motivating, coaching, and developing staff at all levels., • Ensure full compliance with company policies, FCA regulations, and health & safety standards., • Manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectively to maximise efficiency and control costs., • Proven experience in managing and leading multi-site or large team operations., • Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop others., • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships., • Solid understanding of operational processes within a retail, financial, or service-based environment., • Proactive, results-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
