What you will do This role will provide day-to-day HR support to the business, acting as a first point of contact for managers and employees. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Act as a trusted HR contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on policies and processes., • Partner with specialist HR teams (e.g. Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition) to deliver initiatives and provide business insights., • Provide information for and review offer letters and employment-related correspondence for the UK, including promotion letters and internal transfers., • Schedule and maintain HR induction materials (PowerPoint) and host HR induction sessions with all new joiners., • Assist with ad hoc reporting, including headcount updates, turnover data, year-end compensation trackers, and other HR metrics., • Coordinate HR-related invoices for approval and track learning and development expenditure., • Maintain and update HR SharePoint and events calendar (e.g., key dates for promotions and appraisals)., • Coordinate training sessions and collect feedback where required., • Support hiring managers with drafting job specifications, submitting position requests, and creating requisitions in Workday, • Support in ad hoc projects What you will bring, • Previous experience in an HR role (generalist or administrative), • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines, • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) is an advantage, • Genuine interest in HR and developing as a business partner, • Professional and approachable with strong interpersonal skills, • Proactive and solutions-focused, • Handles confidential and sensitive issues with integrity and discretion, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentHow you will stand out, • Experience within financial services or a similar regulated environment., • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.*PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. What we offer you • Private Medical Insurance: PGIM offers private medical insurance and pays the full premium on behalf of all employees., • Annual Leave of 25 to 28 days, based on years of service, at full pay., • Retirement Savings Plan: Employees receive a company contribution of 10% basic annual salary and a maximum employer-matching contribution of 5% of basic annual salary.
