Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will support a variety of financial and administrative tasks essential to our operations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records., • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with reporting standards., • Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions., • Generate checks and coordinate their processing and mailing., • Support deposit preparation and ensure timely completion., • Organize and maintain filing systems, including the file room., • Assist in preparing and submitting annual state filing reports., • Provide support for tax processing and filing activities., • Collaborate with the financial analyst on property management tasks., • Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic, family-owned business environment.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or a related field., • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes., • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and its functionalities., • High level of accuracy and speed in data entry., • Experience with invoice processing and related tasks., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to adapt to a variety of responsibilities within a small business setting.
