The coordinator contributes to the success of the company by supporting the Finance & Accounting department with day-to-day tasks involving any Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable responsibilities, working with vendors, and supporting our team members. Additional Information: • This is a permanent, full-time salary position (Exempt), • Our Headquarters office is located at 7630 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33138, • This role participates in our hybrid schedule A/P: • Responsible for freight expense management, • Identifies and resolves discrepancies related to freight charges, • Coordinates with logistics, procurement, and vendors to ensure accurate billing, • Responds promptly to business partner inquiries submitted via the shared A/R inbox, • Ensures exemption certificates from business partners are received, valid, and up to date, • Assists with resolving sales tax issues and supports sales tax audits as needed, • Prepares and issues invoices for third-party logistics (3PL), direct shipments, and additional freight charges, • Uploads invoices accurately into business partners’ A/R platforms in a timely manner, • Manages and resolves daily A/R invoice exceptions related to distribution center (DC) shipments, • Issues and applies credit memos, account adjustments, and customer refunds, • Monitors incoming payments to ensure proper and timely application to customer accounts, • Posts payments received via bank transfer, ACH, wire, and other methods into the ERP system, • Processes monthly or quarterly rebates with accuracy and attention to detail, • Investigates and resolves short payments, overpayments, refunds, and deduction discrepancies, • Records personal daily punches and approves accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records, • Actively participates in all one-on-one and group meetings, • Assists in other duties and projects as needed and directed, • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related, • Minimum of 3-4+ years’ experience in accounting, • Previous experience with AR & AP highly desired, • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, • Knowledge in Concur software highly desired, • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, • Critical accuracy in all financial transactions and projects, • Ability to handle confidential information, • Follows direction and works under pressure to meet deadlines, • Stress and time management skills, • Analytical, creative, practical problem-solving skills, • Customer service and interpersonal skills, • Work collaboratively and as part of a diverse team, • Communicate with excellence and clarity both verbally and in writing, • Project management skills and strong attention to detail, • Tech-savviness, • Strategic thinking, planning, and execution, • Organized, action and detail-oriented, • Demonstrates sound work ethics, • Possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity, • Highly enthusiastic, positive-minded, and composure in challenging situations, • Thrives in a goal-driven environment FOH®, Inc. recognizes that our team members are our most important assets; therefore, we are committed to offering a comprehensive benefits package that provides protection and well-being for our team and their families. The salary/hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated or budgeted range.
