Full-Time • On-Site St. George, UT Reports To: Senior Operational Leader ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION This organization is a fast-growing manufacturing company with multiple facilities across North America. The business is in an active expansion phase, increasing production capacity, maturing safety systems, and investing heavily in workforce development. THE OPPORTUNITY The HSE Manager will lead all health, safety, and environmental programs for one of the company’s key manufacturing sites. The facility is scaling output and undergoing major growth, requiring a hands-on safety leader who spends substantial time on the production floor. This highly visible role partners directly with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional leaders to strengthen safety culture, enhance risk controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed a proactive, zero-incident mindset across all operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaboration & Communication • Communicate effectively at all levels to reinforce expectations and promote hazard awareness., • Partner with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, Materials, and Quality to integrate HSE into daily management systems., • Manage environmental compliance documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping., • Oversee hazardous materials handling, waste management, spill response, and recycling programs., • Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulatory requirements., • Lead audits, inspections, and assessments to identify hazards and reduce risk., • Champion a safety-first, speak-up culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement., • Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and root cause analyses., • Improve and sustain safety programs including LOTO, confined space, hot work, JSAs, and PPE assessments., • Lead safety initiatives using Lean tools, standardization, and structured problem solving., • Develop and deliver safety training programs, orientations, and toolbox talks., • Coordinate safety campaigns and employee engagement initiatives., • Ability to manage multiple programs while maintaining accurate documentation., • Strong communication, influence, and coaching skills., • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (experience may substitute)., • 10+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial settings., • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a strong, proactive safety culture., • Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions., • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and foundational HSE principles., • Authorization to work in the U.S., • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives., • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits., • Retirement savings plans with employer contributions., • Company-paid life and short-term disability coverage., • Optional supplemental insurance., • Generous paid time off and employee assistance resources.
