CURE Auto Insurance’s Claims department is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Operations Manager. This role will be instrumental in optimizing operations, streamlining processes, making strategic business decisions, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, managing key operational functions, and effectively leading a team to achieve exceptional performance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Process Optimization: ● Analyze existing workflows and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. ● Develop and implement streamlined processes within Guidewire and Medlogix to ensure optimal claims outcomes ● Work closely with various third party vendors to create processes and strategies that align with our key business objectives Team Leadership & Development: ● Lead, coach, and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. ● Provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations to ensure professional development and skill enhancement. ● Empower employees by offering training, resources, and guidance to enhance their effectiveness and overall job satisfaction. ● Promote a collaborative environment and encourage knowledge-sharing within the team. Operational Strategy & Execution: ● Collaborate with senior leadership to establish non-litigation PIP claims handling protocols ● Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team performance and measure success. ● Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. ● Evaluate and manage operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. Continuous Improvement & Reporting: ● Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for innovation and implementing best practices across operations. ● Regularly report on operational performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to management. ● Lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: ● Work closely with other departments such as HR, IT, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across the organization. ● Serve as a key liaison between upper management and operational teams to address challenges, implement changes, and achieve business goals. Experience/Qualifications: ● A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is a plus, but may be substituted for similar experience. ● Minimum of 5 years experience in product management, strategy, operations or similar experience ● Ability to perform under pressure ● Auto claims experience is a plus but not required ● Proven experience in process optimization, cost management, and performance improvement. ● Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities with experience managing a team. ● Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. ● Proficient in using operational management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools. ● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
