Job Description Part- Time Contract Accountant Temporary Position – Late September through Mid-November Approximately 20 hours per week, on-site in Denver, CO Company Overview: We make fish FUN. This position will work closely with the Finance team to maintain accurate records, process payments, reconcile accounts, and support cash management. Key Responsibilities Daily Accounting Processes: • Monitor bank activity daily, • Record and process cash receipts., • Perform daily cash reconciliation in QuickBooks., • Verify and process shipped Bills of Lading (BOLs) ensuring three- way match., • Create and send invoices for completed orders., • Review AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts., • Conduct weekly check run and post payments in QuickBooks., • Support general ledger entries as needed., • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting roles is highly desirable., • 2 + years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience (AR/AP, cash reconciliation)., • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts. Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, collections, and reconciliation. Knowledge of US GAAP is desirable., • Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and excel required; experience with Acctivate a plus., • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills., • Positive ‘can do’ mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small company environment., • Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week; flexible within standard business hours., • Location: On-site at company headquarters in Denver, CO. 3Et4ki3Ou8
