Job DescriptionDescription: The Finance Manager plays a crucial, hands-on role in supporting the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, with additional accountability to the Vice President of Operations, this role is responsible for executing core financial processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing essential analytical support. The Finance Manager oversees the Finance Analyst and is critical in the daily implementation of forecasting, budgeting, and compliance activities. Requirements: Financial Analysis and Planning • Execute and Maintain Financial Models: Manage the day-to-day execution of forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management processes as directed by the Director of Finance., • Budget Support: Assist the Director of Finance in preparing materials for the annual operating budget and track departmental performance against approved budgets., • Data Accuracy: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data used in planning and reporting., • Report Generation: Prepare, review, and distribute routine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review., • Payer Billing and Coding: Directly manage and execute the daily processes related to billing procedures, coding, and time/attendance reporting to ensure accuracy and timely submission., • Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist the Director of Finance in ensuring full compliance with Medicare Part D, CMS, and DMAS regulations by compiling and validating necessary financial data for reporting and audits., • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a key internal finance liaison, collaborating with the Quality Team on process improvement strategies and providing necessary financial data., • Claims Payment Oversight: Monitor and reconcile transactions with third-party administrators to support accurate and timely claim payments., • Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and help resolve financial-related customer service and operational issues. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business., • Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or management., • Proven ability to perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis., • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)., • Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits and regulatory requirements is a significant advantage., • Proficiency in using appropriate financial software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas)., • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with diverse stakeholders. The work environment and physical demands described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. • Work Environment: A fast-paced Adult Day Health Center (ADHC) and clinic with moderate to high noise levels and a climate-controlled office setting., • Physical Demands: Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, frequent use of computers and office equipment, and mobility throughout the center.
