Job DescriptionJob Title: Concrete Foreman (Commercial) Pay Rate: $25–$32 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 1st Shift (hours may vary based on project needs) Job Type: Full-Time Location: Projects throughout West Michigan Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead crews on commercial concrete projects throughout West Michigan. This role is hands-on and requires strong leadership, advanced concrete finishing skills, and a solid construction background. The Concrete Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily jobsite activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and completing projects efficiently and on schedule. Key Responsibilities • Lead, supervise, and motivate a concrete crew on commercial job sites, • Perform hands-on concrete finishing work including:, • Flatwork, • Walls, • Decorative concrete, • Build, set, and strip concrete forms, • Layout and install reinforcing steel (rebar), • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications, • Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members, • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and production standards, • Communicate effectively with project managers and other trades, • Monitor job progress and adjust crew activities as needed, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, • Assist with training and mentoring crew membersRequired Skills & ExperienceTop Skills, • Construction, • Concrete Finishing, • Foreman / Crew LeadershipCore Skills, • Commercial concrete work, • Concrete finishing (flatwork, walls, decorative), • Concrete forming and carpentry, • Rebar installation, • General construction knowledge, • Jobsite leadership and supervisionAdditional Qualifications, • Proven experience as a concrete finisher in a commercial setting, • Previous foreman or lead experience preferred, • Strong understanding of construction practices and safety standards, • Ability to work flexible hours depending on project demands, • Physically capable of performing labor-intensive concrete work, • Reliable transportation to job sites across West Michigan, • Strong communication and teamwork skillsWork Environment, • Outdoor and indoor commercial construction sites, • Exposure to varied weather conditions Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
