Job Description Preferably located in Phoenix, AZ Sitemetric seeks a bar-raising, experienced Director, Security Training & Development to design, implement, and manage the company’s comprehensive security training programs. This role will report to the VP of Physical Security and will be responsible for developing training that ensures compliance with state-mandated licensing requirements, while also providing prioritized, job-specific security training for employees delivering security services. About the Role As Director, Security Training & Development, you will design, deliver, and oversee Sitemetric’s security training strategy for both security personnel and the broader employee population. You will ensure training meets all regulatory requirements for state licensing and goes beyond compliance to address workplace-specific risks and employee preparedness. Training formats will include both in-person and virtual delivery, ensuring accessibility for all staff. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive security training program aligned with state licensing requirements across multiple jurisdictions, • Design and deliver job-specific training for employees performing security services., • Build and maintain mandatory training for all Sitemetric employees on workplace violence prevention, run/hide/fight, threat detection, response and reporting protocols., • Deliver training through blended learning methods, including in-person instruction, e-learning, and virtual classroom sessions, • Evaluate training effectiveness through testing, feedback, and audits; refine programs as necessary, • Maintain accurate records of employee training completion and compliance, • Partner with compliance and operations teams to align training programs with regulatory requirements and company standards, • Stay current on security training best practices, regulatory updates, and innovative training methods, • Support onboarding processes by integrating security training into new employee orientation., • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, • 7+ years of experience in security training, instructional design, or compliance training within a regulated security or law enforcement environment, • Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering security-related training programs, • Strong knowledge of state-mandated security training/licensing requirements, • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, • Experience designing training across multiple formats (in-person, virtual, e-learning), • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, • Experience in the construction, law enforcement, physical security, or technology industries, • Professional certifications in training, security, or compliance (e.g., CPTM, CPP, CTT+), • Proven success implementing training programs in multi-state or large-scale environments As part of the Sitemetric team, you'll receive: • Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications, • Health, dental and vision insurance for full time employees, • 401(k) eligibility, • Eligible for discretionary bonus, based upon individual, team, and company-wide performance., • Accrued paid sick leave for all employee, • Flexible paid time off, • Employee referral bonus plan includes $50 for each referred candidate that completes a minimum of three (3) consecutive calendar months of service with Sitemetric. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and jobsite upon which work is being performed, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience.
