Job Summary: Responsible for following guidelines as regarding Enhanced Family Foster Care and ensuring a supportive and collaborative work environment exists for foster parent and agency staff. Ensure that all prospective foster homes meet Office of Children and Family Services and Administration for Children’s Services regulations. Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for all aspects of the recertification and certification of foster parents assigned., • Facilitate/co-facilitate Trauma Response Informed Parenting (TRIPP) trainings, • Facilitate weekly orientation for potential foster parent resources on a rotation schedule., • Support case planning by conducting frequent check ins with foster parents, bridging communication gaps, and improving organizational relationships., • Assist with foster home disruptions and support intake as needed, • Responsible for managing foster parent records including Connections and hard copy records, • Utilize agency tracker to document all inquiries and outcomes., • Utilize the Biniti system and attend Biniti meetings., • Participate in recruitment events., • Support and work with Foster Adoptive Parent Association., • Complete potential resource inquiry forms., • Connections, ASARA, and Binti Requirements: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: • Microsoft 365 proficiency and knowledge of Connections, • Excellent oral, written and communication skills, • Excellent interpersonal skills, • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of child welfare experience, • Bilingual in Spanish, • Due to the nature of the work environment work hours will be based on needs of program and may vary, • Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned within the scope of position, • Our Agency operates in 2 locations: Staten Island and Brooklyn.
