As the Training Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in strengthening these services by overseeing employee training, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring both program administration and direct care employees are prepared to provide quality services. You’ll oversee training delivery and facilitation, training processes, documentation, and corporate education initiatives. Your Responsibilities May Include: Training & Facilitation • Implement standardized training curriculum, including the New Hire Orientation process., • Facilitate engaging training sessions to support state and service line goals., • Maintain, update, and develop training curricula, content, and materials as needed., • Support the implementation of corporate education initiatives., • Provide feedback to program management regarding new employee performance during orientation., • Help ensure program administration and direct care staff have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality services. Training Compliance & Documentation • Ensure accurate training documentation is maintained for employees., • Implement standardized procedures for tracking training within Relias., • Review training compliance data and corrective action plans., • Help programs maintain compliance with regulatory, licensing, certification, and funder training requirements., • Support programs in preparing for state surveys and ensuring required federal and state compliance training is completed., • Assist programs with required staff licensing and certifications. Program & Staff Support • Communicate regularly with program management regarding employee training needs and compliance., • Provide oversight and support to designated training staff., • Identify inconsistencies or gaps in program training requirements and processes., • Help streamline new-hire onboarding and standardize training practices where appropriate., • Provide training support across responsible program locations., • Assist programs with operational tasks and oversight as assigned. Collaboration & Reporting • Partner with RHD's Corporate Training and Education team to support high-quality training content., • Assist with developing supplemental program-specific training materials., • Support effective use of Relias for training tracking and reporting., • Prepare and distribute monthly KPI and training reports to appropriate leadership., • Build collaborative relationships with internal teams, employees, stakeholders, and external partners.Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: ✔ An engaging and confident trainer ✔ Comfortable facilitating groups of up to 20 people ✔ Highly organized and detail-oriented ✔ Able to manage multiple priorities and projects ✔ An effective written and verbal communicator ✔ Skilled at building relationships across different teams ✔ Comfortable learning and using new technology ✔ Approachable, professional, and service-focused ✔ Passionate about employee learning and development ✔ Committed to quality and regulatory compliance QualificationsEducation & Experience • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred., • Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering training, developing training content, and applying adult learning principles., • 1 to 3 years of experience in an IDD, behavioral health, or human services environment preferred., • Comfortable facilitating training for groups of up to 20 people.Additional Requirements, • State Background Check clearance, including required initial and quarterly checks., • Ability to obtain and maintain required training certifications in MANDT, First Aid, and CPR., • Valid Driver's License., • Ability to travel consistently to the program locations for which the position is responsible., • Ability to quickly learn new technology systems and tools., • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and virtual training delivery platforms., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities., • Ability to organize and prioritize work while effectively managing multiple tasks and projects.Schedule & Location, • Full-Time, • $50,000 Annual Salary, • Sioux Falls, South Dakota, • Supporting RHD's Shared Living and Day programs, • Regular travel to supported program locations is required., • Schedule flexibility may be needed based on business and training needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, or work at different locations.Physical Requirements, • Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, twist, climb steps, and drive as necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position., • Ability to travel between multiple program locations., • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Apply Today Some jobs pay the bills.
