Qualifications and Preferred Experience • Active and unrestricted CA LVN license required, • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable, • Able to provide catheterization support and respond to medical needs promptly, • Comfortable assisting students during field trips and managing care in dynamic environments, • Adaptable; willingness to float between assignments if needed to cover absences or address urgent situations, • Professional, collaborative communication skills, • Female applicants strongly encouraged due to student support needs Role Responsibilities • Deliver daily nursing care, including catheter support, to assigned students, • Maintain a safe and healthy environment during school hours and on field trips, • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other school staff to address student health needs efficiently, • Document medical care according to school and state policies, • Participate in LVN Pool as necessary, stepping in to assist with urgent needs or staff absences, • Engage positively with students, offering support and reassurance throughout the school day Assignment Details • Contract duration: June 15, 2026 – July 8, 2026 (scheduled days off: Juneteenth and July 3rd), • Full-time hours: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch), • Work is entirely onsite for the duration of the assignment If you’re ready to make a difference in a supportive educational setting this summer, bring your expertise and compassion to this invaluable role.
