Senior Product Manager Boston, MA | Hybrid (Remote ET/CT considered) — Reports to: Head of Product About Goodpath Millions of people start health programs and quit. Goodpath keeps them going. Goodpath is a virtual integrative care platform helping employers deliver personalized, whole-person health support to their members. We treat chronic conditions like back pain, sleep disorders, anxiety, weight management (including GLP-1 support), digestive health, and more by combining a mobile app, health coaching, therapy, prescriptions, and physical products into one coordinated care experience. We are a small (~50 people), high-velocity team at the intersection of clinical rigor and modern product development. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own Member Experience end-to-end: engagement, activation, retention, and the systems that keep members progressing through their care programs. This is not a role where AI is a buzzword in the job description. AI is how we work. You'll use AI tools daily to accelerate discovery, write specifications, analyze data, prototype solutions, and pressure-test your own thinking. You'll be expected to have a real AI workflow, not just familiarity with ChatGPT. You'll own the member-facing product surface and be accountable for the metrics that matter: are members engaging, are they coming back, are they getting better? You'll work alongside health coaches, therapists, and clinicians whose relationships with members are central to the product. You'll partner with engineering, clinical, QA, and operations to ship products that move those numbers. What You'll Do • Own Member Experience outcomes. Activation, engagement, retention, and health outcomes for members using the Goodpath platform. You're accountable for the numbers, not just the features., • Design for behavior change. Members are managing chronic health conditions. You'll apply engagement frameworks, habit formation principles, and an understanding of what motivates people to sustain healthy behaviors over time. This is the core product challenge., • Build engagement systems, not just features. Design and iterate on the loops, triggers, and nudges that drive sustained member behavior. Think retention mechanics and progress systems, not feature launches., • Bridge human and digital care. Our Health Coaches are central to member outcomes. You'll design product experiences that amplify coaching relationships, support care team workflows, and coordinate the human and digital sides of the experience., • Use AI as a core tool. Write specs with AI assistance. Analyze data with AI. Prototype with AI. Build custom workflows that make you faster and sharper. Push the boundaries of what's possible in your daily PM work., • Turn complexity into clarity. Translate clinical programs, eligibility rules, and multi-condition care pathways into crisp requirements that engineering can build and QA can test., • Make decisions with data. Size opportunities, define metrics, run experiments, and use results to decide what's next. SQL fluency or equivalent data skills expected., • Partner across the organization. Work with clinical, engineering, QA, operations, and customer success. Align stakeholders without over-processing. You Should Have • 5–10 years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on consumer engagement, activation, or retention., • Direct experience in health, wellness, or an adjacent industry where getting people to engage with health-related activities is the core product challenge., • A real AI workflow. You use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) beyond basic prompting. You build workflows, catch AI errors, push back on outputs, and integrate AI into how you actually work. You're not just AI-curious; you're AI-active., • Understanding of applied psychology, behavior change, or engagement frameworks. You can articulate why people stick with products and what makes them leave., • Outcome orientation. You've driven measurable improvements in retention, engagement, or activation and can walk through the mechanism, not just the metric., • Technical fluency. You can read code, reason about APIs and data models, and collaborate deeply with engineers without writing production code., • Systems thinking. Edge cases, rules, routing, eligibility logic, and the interactions between them. Nice to Have • Experience with gamification mechanics, progress systems, or reward structures., • Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, clinical workflows, compliance)., • Multi-surface experience (mobile + web + internal tools coordinated)., • Experience building products where human service providers (coaches, clinicians, care teams) and digital experiences work together. What Sets This Role Apart • AI is a working tool, not a strategy slide. We use Claude Code, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted processes across product, engineering, and operations. You'll be expected to match that pace., • Real ownership. You own a product domain end-to-end at a company where your work directly affects member health outcomes., • Small team, big impact. ~50 people. No layers between you and the decisions that matter., • Health + tech intersection. Clinical rigor meets modern product development. Healthcare domain expertise exists in-house; you bring the engagement systems thinking., • Human + digital hybrid. Our product combines technology with real human care relationships. If you've worked at the intersection of digital products and human service delivery, you'll feel at home. Location Boston hybrid is strongly preferred. Eastern or Central Time remote is acceptable for the right candidate. We have engineering presence in the EU, so Western Europe or UK timezone can work for exceptional candidates. Goodpath is committed to building a diverse team. We strongly encourage applications from women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and members of other underrepresented groups. We believe diverse perspectives make better products and better care.
