This role is a dual positionresponsible for managing a personal book of business while also leading, developing, and training Account Managers within the territory. The Lead Account Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening sales training, onboarding, strategic planning, motivation, communication, and overall territory growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with proven sales expertise, an innovative mindset, and a passion for fostering relationships that drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Training & Development • Lead the training and development of Account Managers and new hires., • Conduct regular ride-alongs to model best practices and coach for success., • Provide feedback and mentoring to strengthen team members performance., • Partner with Account Managers to build stronger relationships with large accounts and key referral sources., • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to identify opportunities and threats., • Manage your own accounts and meet/exceed individual sales goals., • Hold Account Managers accountable for achieving revenue targets and KPIs., • Monitor team performance, track results, and implement corrective actions when needed., • Drive market saturation using the territory map to maximize coverage and prevent competitive inroads., • Increase community engagement and brand visibility through events and networking., • Implement initiatives to build team morale and create a positive, high-energy culture., • Serve as the primary point of contact for acceptances/denials, streamlining communication with Nursing leadership., • Strengthen relationships with physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Hospitals, SNFs, ALs, and ILs., • Partner with Medical Directors to align care continuity and highlight the importance of referrals., • Collaborate with operations to align staffing with sales initiatives., • Address and resolve team challenges to maintain a cohesive, high-performing culture., • Participate in attracting, interviewing, and hiring top sales talent. Qualifications • Bachelors degree required., • Proven leadership experience in home health care, hospice, or pharmaceutical sales., • Minimum 2+ years of successful sales management experience., • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets., • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills., • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and time management abilities., • Resilient, solutions-oriented, and capable of removing barriers to success., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and virtual meeting platforms., • Ability to travel weekly (50%+)., • Valid U.S. drivers license, safe driving record, and ability to pass a background check.
