Job Description The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, components, and services required for sheet metal manufacturing operations. This role ensures timely availability of steel, fabricated parts, hardware, electrical and outsourced services while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and supplier reliability. The Purchaser works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Accounting to support uninterrupted manufacturing flow. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Supply Management • Purchase sheet metal materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum), structural steel, pipe, fittings, and fabrication hardware., • Source and procure outsourced processes such as laser cutting, plasma cutting, bending, rolling, machining, galvanizing, painting, and powder coating., • Issue purchase orders based on MRP signals, production schedules, and engineering BOMs., • Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and fabricators., • Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, lead time, and delivery performance., • Request and analyze quotes; negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms., • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock., • Support cost‐reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing and material optimization., • Coordinate with Accounting on invoices, discrepancies, and tax‐exempt purchases., • Collaborate with Engineering on material specifications, drawings, and revisions., • Work with Production and Scheduling to align purchasing priorities., • Communicate delivery status, delays, and risks to stakeholders., • Support Quality with supplier corrective actions and non‐conformance resolution., • Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP/MRP systems., • Ensure purchase orders reflect correct quantities, specs, pricing, and delivery terms Qualifications • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)., • 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a sheet metal or metal fabrication environment., • Strong understanding of steel types, gauges, fabrication processes, and manufacturing lead times., • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems., • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing analytics., • Experience working in a high‐mix, low‐to‐medium volume manufacturing environment. When you’ll work… Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This position is hybrid with typically 1-2 days in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Canal Street facility office and 3 days working remote. What you’ll do… As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will own the execution of the order-to-cash process for assigned customer accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of service. This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complexity across multiple systems and stakeholders. The ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) conducts patient fitting activities in support of the sales organization and the team of Regional Clinical Advisors (RCA). The APS will serve as the local patient care representative to provide effective and efficient patient fittings. We have an opening in Milwaukee, WI. This is a paid per fitting position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Act as a contractor ASSURE® Patient Specialist (APS) to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via training assignments dispatched from corporate headquarters. The APS will be trained and Certified as an ASSURE Patient Specialist by Kestra., • Ability to provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure® patients with demonstrated patient care skills, • Willingness to contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services, • Ability to accept an assignment that could include daytime, evening, and weekend hours, • Travel to hospitals, patient’s homes and other healthcare facilities to provide fitting services, • Measure the patient to determine the correct garment size, • Review and transmit essential paperwork with the patient to receive the Assure® garment and services, • Manage inventory of the Assure® system kits, garments, and electronic equipment used in fittings, • Flexibility of work schedule and competitive pay provided, • Adhere to Pledge of Confidentiality, • Passion: Contagious excitement about the company – sense of urgency.
