The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for an Assistant Professor of Clinical - Medicine, Transplant Cardiology (MTI), working in the Miami Transplant Institute. We are in search of a Cardiologist with clinical expertise in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation with a proven record of research and teaching to join a thriving program. The candidate must be well trained in all aspects of general, clinical cardiology, have completed an Advanced Fellowship in Heart Failure, and be BC/BE in Cardiovascular Diseases and BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure. The cardiac transplant program at the Miami Transplant Institute and the University of Miami has a long track record of success and is the leading institution in Miami. This position will entail inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management of patients referred for transplant evaluation, post-transplant care, VAD management, and long term follow-up of non-transplant patients with advanced heart failure.
