Position Information: Are you a passionate and dedicated clinical professional seeking a new and rewarding career path in academia? The College of Health and Wellness at NWHSU is excited to announce an opportunity to join our Radiologic Technology program as a full-time faculty member! This role is ideal for an experienced clinical professional who wants to share their real-world expertise in a teaching environment and make a meaningful impact on the next generation of healthcare providers. As a member of our faculty, you will engage students through both in-person and online instruction, provide supportive feedback and mentorship, and help shape and enhance our curriculum using our state-of-the-art positioning lab. We're seeking a collaborative, student-focused educator who values innovation and excellence in healthcare education as we work toward JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) accreditation. This is a year-round, faculty position where academic rank and compensation will be determined by qualifications and experience. Work Location: Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed Course Assignments May Include: Radiologic Procedures I Lecture and Lab; Radiologic Procedures II Lecture and Lab; Principles of Exposure. Specific courses will be assigned within the department to best align with the expertise of each faculty member and the needs of the University. Duties: • Coordinate and assign students to clinical rotations in collaboration with program faculty., • Plan and schedule clinical learning experiences with clinical supervisors and staff., • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clinical sites and provide ongoing support to clinical supervisors through regular communication and site visits., • Assist students and clinical supervisors with issue resolution and problem-solving., • Develop, manage, and evaluate the clinical components of assigned courses., • Collaborate with the program chair to develop and manage didactic courses., • Monitor student clinical hours, evaluation results, and radiation safety badge reports., • Compile and report clinical site and supervisor evaluation data each term., • Support accreditation activities and compliance requirements., • Schedule and conduct student advisement sessions each semester., • Participate in university admissions, commencement, and professional development activities., • Maintain active ARRT registration and applicable state licensure., • Associate degree, required, • Bachelor's degree, preferred; tuition reimbursement/remission is available to support completion of a bachelor's degree, • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in good standing, • Clinical experience, • Capacity for successful course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising; previous teaching experience preferred., • A passion for teaching and commitment to student success, • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite applications Compensation: $62,000-$65,000 (Instructor); $65,000-$68,000 (Assistant Professor); the rank of Associate Professor may be considered based on qualifications and experience, with salary determined by market data and internal equity. Academic rank and compensation are determined by a combination of education, related professional experience, and internal equity considerations.
