Job Description We’re hiring a General Carpenter for one-of-a-kind, high-end residential projects in Palm Beach, FL. Dowbuilt carpenters have mid-to-advanced level carpentry skills and at least four years' experience in the industry, luxury residential preferred. Job Description We’re hiring an apprentice carpenter to support the overall organization, cleanliness, and safety on our job sites and assist subcontractors with basic carpentry tasks. Apprentice carpenters use basic tools to help carpenters and subtrades execute the daily work plan, under the direction of the site foreman and superintendent. This position offers an opportunity to be a part of one-of-a-kind, high-end residential estate builds while developing carpentry skills, and honing one's ability to read and interpret construction drawings. WHAT YOU’LL DO As an apprentice carpenter, you will: • Occasionally perform light carpentry and assist with pickup framing, rough-in, site protection, and finish carpentry as opportunities arise. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Serve first and foremost in a Project Coordinator role for the Event Services Department, creating and maintaining deliverable timelines for event components from inception to completion., • Track and manage all timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed by their due dates. Key Responsibilities: • Managing and assessing complex information for accuracy and risk on various high-profile projects to ensure highest quality and timely delivery of a wide scope of contracted services., • Completing plan and cost reviews, site observations, property condition reports, and internal quality control reviews., • Conducting due diligence for proposed developments., • Performing construction project management, leading project meetings., • Supporting various aspects related to business development., • Completing presentations, conducting research., • Mentoring team members including through group or one-on-one training., • Assisting senior team members in the field and in the office on more complex/special projects., • Supporting senior leadership on various projects, company initiatives, and administrative matters. Qualifications • MUST HAVE new construction healthcare experience, managing healthcare projects from cradle to grave, • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar from an accredited university plus five years of related experience. Job Description SUMMARY: Has full charge of all project field operations and the ultimate responsibility for a successful project(s). The Superintendent has the right to hire and fire all field employees that are under him/her. Authority to make key decisions impacting the overall success of the project(s). Has the authority to purchase materials, supplies and equipment as needed for the various jobs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Serves as field operations manager, overseeing and coordinating all field operations for the projects assigned., • Responsible for employee and independent contractor supervision including recruitment, performance/schedule management, quality control and discipline., • Prepare contractor draws and employee time sheets on a daily basis., • Perform the duties as the Competent Person. Primary safety representative enforcing company safety policy, tool box talks, accident investigations and reports and other safety related duties., • Responsible for project cleanliness and housekeeping., • Responsible for material management including receiving, distribution, utilization and verification to contract documents., • Purchase and/or order miscellaneous materials, supplies and equipment as needed for various jobs., • All field layout in accordance with contract documents and/or approved shop/fabrication drawings., • Oversee all installations for compliance with the contract requirements and compliance with MIA, TCNA, APA, PCI and other industry standards., • Coordinate and work with the Titan Project Manager as well as representatives of the project Owners and General Contractors., • Implement and maintain tracking systems/matrix’s for installations and schedules., • Complete Daily Reports and other reports as may be required on a daily basis., • Hands on management which may include installation as the situation may require., • You will be exposed to all types of weather conditions. Eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays. Bending, stooping, walking, climbing, rough terrain and lifting (50 lbs or less)., • You will be exposed to construction jobsite conditions which require people to hear and understand emergency action signals from other individuals and from emergency systems. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIRED: • A high school diploma or GED., • Must have a current and valid driver’s license., • Must have management and planning capabilities., • The position requires good communication skills including email and basic computer skills DESIRED: • OSHA 10 Hour Certification., • Forklift Certification., • Scaffold Certification., • Rigging Certification. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 5-7 years similar experience, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position., • Stone and tile setting experience. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Field crew WORK SCHEDULE: 8-10 hour workdays Monday through Friday, with frequent weekend work. As required by the project schedule.
