Job Description SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team at Premise to lead the electrical and telecommunications sales. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales efforts by engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and generating sales leads. Your strong knowledge of telecommunication services and excellent communication skills will contribute to the success of our business. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers, fostering loyalty and repeat business., • Customer Engagement: Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person visits to understand their telecommunication construction needs, provide service information, and offer suitable solutions., • Lead Generation: Proactively identify sales needs and pursue sales opportunities with existing and new potential customers, initiate outbound calls, and follow up on inbound leads, converting them into qualified prospects., • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our electrical and telecommunication services offered, including our expertise, and differentiator, in order to effectively communicate their value to customers., • Sales Results: Ability to sell to the targets set forth by the Sales Director., • Leads the sales, estimating, and pursuit process to ensure proposals meet company and customer objectives, engaging Estimating, Operations, Human Resources, and other Premise departments., • CRM Management: Maintain and update customer information, sales activities, and opportunities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, enabling effective sales pipeline management., • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track individual and team progress, contributing to the achievement of sales targets., • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving any issues or concerns, and ensuring a positive overall experience., • Attend networking events to build the Premise brand and identify new leads and opportunities., • Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • All employees must demonstrate the ability to promote and embody the Premise Core Values: Be Ready to Learn, Own the Result, Build Trust, Do the Right Thing, and Drive to Complete., • In addition to the above, other required qualifications for this role are:, • Education: 4-year bachelor's degree or combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities., • Job Specific Skill: 5+ Years' previous experience in sales. Experience within the electrical or telecommunication industry or a related field is strongly preferred., • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, articulate product information, and negotiate terms., • Sales Aptitude: Proven ability to generate leads, pursue sales opportunities, and close deals while maintaining strong customer relationships., • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records., • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM systems, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant software., • Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships., • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and management, to achieve common goals., • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions., • Driver’s License and Transportation: Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record, • Travel: Occasional as needed, 10-20%. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, walk, lift, talk, hear, see, reach, grasp, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment.
